Last Team Standing
Pick one team a week.
Never the same team twice.
If your team wins, you live to next week. If they lose, that is a strike. Take 2 strikes and you are out. Last entry still breathing takes the pot.
How it works
- Every week you pick one NFL team you think will win. Straight up, no point spreads.
- You can only use each team once all season. Spend Kansas City in week 1 and they are gone for good.
- Win and you move on. Lose and you take a strike. 2 strikes and you are out.
- Fill in as many weeks ahead as you like. A week locks the moment its first game kicks off, and everything you picked is then final.
- Last entry standing wins. If the last few go out together, they split it.
The fine print
Buy in
$10 an entry, paid to Blaine directly. Venmo, cash, whatever. Your entry shows as unpaid until he marks it off.
Multiple entries
You can run up to 3 entries. Each one costs $10, and each is its own separate run with its own used teams. Nothing carries between them.
Deadline
The whole week locks at the first kickoff of that week, not at your own team's kickoff. Nobody gets to watch Thursday before choosing Sunday.
Everyone else's picks
Hidden until the week locks. Once it locks, every pick is public.
Forgot to pick
You get handed the biggest favorite still available to you. It still burns that team.
Ties
A tie counts as surviving, but the team is still used up.
Byes
A team on bye cannot be picked that week. The board grays them out for you.
